The New Mini Mac 11: Efficiency and Performance
One thing can be said about the Mac Mini is ever since it was launched in 2005, it still keeps on trying to serve the consumers by constantly improving itself. Apple keeps on innovating the Mac minis to serve every generation with their multi tasks needs. Today, the environment demands change, this is why Apple created the mini Mac 11 to be energy efficient.
Energy efficiency has become synonymous with the mini Mac 11. While the device is not being used, it only uses 10 watts of energy. That is 25% lesser than the previous generation. It also has a sleeker aluminum unibody enclosure. The older models have a plastic enclosure above the machine. The benefits of aluminum is it is recyclable and it is very portable when it comes to shipping. The enclosure is so technologically advance because its aluminum block enclosure is the same as the one being used in space. This is the reason why the Mini Mac 11, does not have a power brick because the power supply is built in to fit the enclosure. One power cord is now what the computer needs.
There are multiple ports in the mini Mac 11, a feature improvement from Apple. Yes, it has multiple ports before but today; it has ports for almost everything you need for home entertainment. Any digital display that utilizes HDMI port and Mini DisplayPort can be hooked up to the mini Mac. The new SD slot allows one to transfer photos from one’s digital camera to the computer. There are a lot of ports, sufficient for one’s needs. It has four USb 2.0 ports and a single FireWire 800 port. There are a lot of peripheral devices that can connect to the mini Mac, for home entertainment and computing needs. In front, there is also a slot for the DVD SuperDrive, to read CDs and DVDs or even writing your own.
The upgraded 8 GB memory is what sets the mini Mac apart from the previous generations. It is double the previous Mac Mini and this means more applications can be run. Storage capacity is also enhanced, just select from the 320 GB or 500 GB hard drive. Mini Mac 11, the awesome performer.
